Blooming with New European Bauhaus
1° classificato | (eco)nnection
di Silvia Ielmini, Chiara Dolcini, Ludovico Meneghel, Gaetano Calise, Giulia Sciortino
The concept was developed by the following team of students of the University of Florence: Chiara Dolcini, Gaetano Calise, Silvia Ielmini, Ludovico Meneghel, Giulia Sciortino.
The concept aims to mend Florence’s urban structure, reconnecting the historic center with Campo di Marte's neighborhood, which are now separated by the homonymous train station. The urban regeneration project aims to create a large pedestrian area by reusing the structures and spaces of the railway, currently no longer in use, in order to give back space to pedestrians and creating ecological connections with the surrounding green areas and the hillside behind.
2° classificato | DinU
di Stefano Vignini, Leonardo Cai, Niccolò Nardini, Camilla Canessa
DinU is a product design concept aiming at inspiring new life styles. The project was born looking at an unspecified future in which it will be more difficult to make contacts and meet new people, just like the Covid-19 pandemic has shown us.
DinU is a device equipped with an in-built projector and a speaker for the reproduction of music and audio. It is also equipped with a system of sensors and a microcontroller that allow you to manage the data produced for domestic consumption (electricity, water, gas, etc.). The device aims to heighten the awareness of its users by generating sustainable and virtuous behavior while offering entertainment and fun, in shared experiences and atmospheres. DinU can also be used as a voice assistant and in the home or other environments for home automation control.
3° classificato | ReUse oil Tankers
di Arianna Camellato
Planet Earth, year 2050, emissions 0, we did it. It is today's news that, after its last unloading, the remaining cargo tanker has finally turned off its engines: a new era begins. The WNPS (World Network for Planet Safety) in agreement with the remaining governments, confirms the possibility for spontaneous communities to independently regenerate the oil extraction, transportation and processing facilities, according to principles of sustainability and inclusive collaboration.
